What’s Google Buzz ?

Google adds a dose of social networking to its Gmail without rivaling Facebook. Its bet: use the power of its algorithm to recommend contacts and improve the relevance of information from social networks.
Is the third attempted of incursion of Google in the world of social networking the right one? The “social” strategy of the search engine is currently experiencing a rather mixed success: Orkut, its social network launched six years ago, brings together about 100 million users (mainly in Brazil and India), four times less than Facebook . Once connected via Buzz, it is possible to monitor real-time flow of activity across its network by clicking the Buzz link located below the Gmail inbox, and share with them messages, Flickr photos or Picasa, YouTube videos and Web links. even though feeds supported by Buzz are still very limited: Twitter, Flickr, Picasa, Google Reader, Blogger, YouTube and Google Chat. A version of Buzz for smartphones, which now supports the iPhone and Android, is also available via an update of Google Maps on the Google Mobile site.
The end of Twitter?
Buzz looks like a feed combined with a virtual social network, within the existing service GMail. If you have a mail account at Google, you can now enjoy it.

Google is everywhere , on your laptop , on your phone, and soon even on your outlet ( seriously it’s not a joke )
The Internet giant Google has asked the U.S. authorities for a permission to become a electricity merchant. This activity would reduce its costs, its carbon emanations but also perhaps to develop synergies.

According to a document filed with the U.S. Commission of Energy Regulation (FERC), the group, through its subsidiary Energy Google has applied to take a merchant status and “related rates” and an authorization to buy and sell on the energy markets.
Google says that if it had made its application to FERC is to have more flexibility in its supply of energy for its own activities, including its data centers.
A merchant Status will indeed increase, its ability to amortize its energy costs and to incorporate renewable energy in its energy portfolio.
Google’s efforts to locate its facilities near a major sources of energy such as hydroelectric dams, show the importance of their energy needs.

I’m happy , I’ve just got my driver license and believe me , Yes!!! I can fell that feeling , a feeling commonly known as freedom , and which can be defined as the fact of being able to go anywhere at any time , oh god I’ve waited so long to get that special feeling .

But let’s face it , I’ve been driving my car now for two weeks and I’m so far from being an experimented driver, and you can’t imagine the number of times that I find myself close from having an accident ( I have to admit that in two weeks I hit my car two time , maybe three :p , but keep it between us) .

So as I can’t afford to buy new headlights each time I’ll broke them , and take my car to the paint shop each time I scratch it with another car , I just decided to take an Auto Insurance :p that way at least someone will help me pay for the fees .

It’s true that sometimes auto insurance fees may be a bit expensive, but frankly when you have an accident and you don’t have an auto insurance, it’s not only your car that will be damaged , but also your pocket .

From 10.6 up to 13 inches: Lenovo is considering deep changes to meet the new uses of mobile professionals. The pc maker is particularly targeting them with 12 and 13 inches ultra-portable.

Lenovo is definitely on all fronts. After the all-in-One ThinkCentre A70z a PC presented recently ,the Chinese manufacturer is introducing new lines of ultra-mobile PC.

The first model introduced is the ThinkPad X100e. equipped with a 11.6 inches screen (WXGA 1366 x 768 HD powered by an ATI Radeon HD3200), it targets companies looking for a small professional computer. Weighing only 1.5 kilogrames, it features multiple connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth and 3G. Equipped with a multipoint touchpad and keyboard with extended keys, this PC is based on an AMD Athlon Neo (MV-40 or X2 L335) or Turion X2 L625, up to 4 GB of RAM and 320 GB disk drive.Even smaller and lighter (only 10.1 inches and 900 grams), the Skylight will be available in the second quarter of 2010 in the United States. It will offer an HD widescreen display and will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon ARM processor (1 GHz) powered by a Linux distribution. Skylight is essentially targeting phone operators 3G deals.

Moreover, Lenovo is democratizing the Thinkpad which made its reputation with the new ThinkPad Edge. These models of 13, 14 or 15 inches are designed specifically for SMEs and demanding individuals. The 13-inch model is the first ThinkPad offering the dual-core technology from AMD Vision Pro. Lenovo announces eight hours of battery life. The keyboard has been simplified and some models like the ThinkPad Edge of 14 and 15 inches are equipped with a lighted keyboard. Some keys disappear in favor of new ones. The large multi-point touchpad was oversized to allow pinch, zoom and to scroll images easily. But fortunately for the regulars, the trackpoint is still there.

Finally, it’s the first Thinkpad available in red (no longer the traditional black) and equipped with speakers, a webcam and HD microphone. The Thinkpad Edge are Gold EPEAT certified and comply with Energy Star 5.0 specifications. Until yesterday, Google Chrome OS was a concept in the wind. We now know exactly what it is and how it works:

Google Chrome OS is an open source light operating system. Originally designed for netbooks, its peculiarity lies in the fact that “most of the user experience takes place on the web.

-It is just a browser, which means that everything will be based on web services as pre-existing Gmail, Google Docs, etc.. There will be no local application, only web apps. Nothing is installed or updatde.

-It runs as web apps: Chrome OS will integrate the web apps inside the operating system, so it will behave more like native apps than like web apps.

-How, exactly?: With HTML 5. This is the next version of HTML version, which gives the browser a better access to local resources.

-Chrome is Chrome: The user experience with Chrome OS is substantially similar to the experience with the browser chrome. Technically, Chrome OS is an operating system based on Linux, but you do not install binaries with Linux as Ubuntu or other Linux distributions.

-As you probably guessed, it is super light. It starts in a few seconds, and instructs the browser directly.

-For the moment, it is designed for netbooks. It is not intended for office machines.

Why is this important?
With Chrome OS, Google installs the operating system fully online. The idea is to make the browser powerful enough to make the rest of the operating system and its native apps, useless.

The system is more pure than what people imagined: When Google announced that Chrome OS will be centered around web, most people assumed that this will be a lightweight Linux distribution with a strong integration of Google web services. It’s not that. It is a browser.

But it is a browser that runs separate processes for each tab and which has access to local resources of the operating system. The idea is to replicate the functionality of a native OS while keeping the framework light and and an ultra-secure workstation.

In other words, Google does not ask users to change their habits but is trying to change how the operating system is making it , so transparent to users.

in the past few years , The prestigious GT segment has grown considerably with the emergence of new models: take as example the Aston Martin V8 ,the Audi R8 and the Lamborghini Gallardo … which means that the V8 Ferraris, the Biturbo Maseratis,the BMW M3 , the Porsche 911 ,not to mention the Corvette were attacked from all sides. First to start the hostility, Lamborghini, under the control of Audi, has launched one of the most beautiful cars of all time , the Gallardo.

When it was introduced on the market , its 500 hp V10 paled the Ferrari 360 Modena, with an older design, and equipped only with a 400-hp V8 engine that was struggling to keep the rhythm imposed by this “mini” Murciélago. A boon for fans that could finally take the commands of a democratic Lamborghini, and more than that , that were finally able to have a Lamborghini that could be used every day , compared to a Murciélago or a Diablo with a size and a maneuverability that made each time they wanted to take a ride in their Lamborghini , a chaotic and enigmatic experience .

In terms of design , I have to admit that I personally have a little preference for the Lamborghini Gallardo. Its looks smoother, and really bad . Even the design of its wheels is subtle and is inspired by the previous series of Lamborghinis. But let’s say it clear ,No doubt, Luke Donkervolt expressed his art, an art mastered and flamboyant. The Ferrari F430, whose design is “outsourced” from Pininfarina, is inspired from the Ferrari Enzo. Moreover, at equivalent power, the Ferrari seems to be more effective at high speed where aerodynamics plays a key role and makes it gain 6 km / h.

In the Inside, the differences are staring you in the face and Ferrari clearly wins this time. Yes life is difficult, especially when after 5 years of great efforts to d create a sort of friendship with your boss , they tell you that a new boss is coming :s it simply means that you have to do everything from the beginning .

But let’s face it My new boss is cool , he is so gentle that he came and asked me kindly to do him a service, which simply was to help him move his cars from the town where he used to live , to my city , it was just a question of 400 km , but it’s clear that it was a test, and i had to succeed.

But what my boss didn’t tell me is that he had four cars , and It was simply unconceivable to do the distance 4 times ,I had to find a solution .
and the solution was to call auto movers whom simply did a great job , the cars were delivered 24h later and my boss was simply astonished .
all this to tell you what ?? to tell you that if you need to move something from a town to another, instead of taking the risk of destroying it ,call moving services at least you will be sure of the result, and you’ll gain your boss’s respect
