Let's Know About: BING.COM
Today something really weird happened to me , a thing that my ears were not prepared to hear, a thing that I couldn’t even expect its existence , I know that you are so confused and you don’t know what I’m talking about , but to clarify the thing better let me first put you into the context .
Today while I was taking the bus , to guys who were sitting one next to the other, were talking about a new rock band ( It’s not my fault if I hear what my neighbors are saying ,but it’s because they were talking too loud 
) so while they were talking ,the first said to the second a disturbing sentence , he said : hey dude if you wanna know more about it , check it on BING !!!!!
It’s exactly at that moment when I felt a terrible headache, and earth started revolving around me , and thousands of questions started knocking on my head ,looking for answers that I couldn’t provide , so what the hell is that thing called BING , and why didn’t he simply say check it on google ??? does it mean that humans have been able to develop a new search engine , better than the super-natural search engine called GOOGLE ???
I had to do some investigation ,to know more about it , and here is what I found :
Bing is a new( not really but we will say new :p ) ” decision ” search engine , it was first introduced by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer at the All Things Digital conference in San Diego on May 28, 2009 and it’s considered as the direct answer from Microsoft to face Google’s supremacy .
Bing is not a completely new project, as it’s based on windows live search but of course with more features . but as I’m a very curious guy, my curiosity pushed me to visit www.bing.com and see how it looks and if it had a chance to face google and frankly , I’ve been really surprised, here are some of its features that I really appreciated and got my attention :
The background image changes every day, a very interesting thing compared to google’s very simplistic white search interface .
Two very useful navigation panes . Including of course navigation and, on results pages, a very useful list of related searches and a list of searches you did previously ( left pane ).
A list of relevant or important urls from within the article(right pane).
But maybe one of the best improvements , or at least one of the features that I appreciated the most is the Video thumbnail Preview where, just by passing your mouse over it , the video automatically starts playing, also you can adjust setting for length, screen size, resolution and source of your Video search .
And more other interesting things .
Anyway ,this is just a brief introduction to what may become Google of tomorrow , and it’s really worth visiting it , a thing that you can do just by visiting the following link .
