Let's Know About : The day is got hacked by my Secretary
Guess what, Today I’m so angry , I haven’t been as angry as today since a long time , you may ask me why ? the answer is that someone broke into my computer at work and draw a heart with my icons, I can’t deny that it’s so cute, but it’s simply unacceptable and unbearable.
Fortunately for me that I don’t work at NASA or CIA, but anyway ,what I have on my laptop remains important and must be kept away from bad jokes like this one , because imagine if one of our competitors can have access to data about our clients , he could use it to harm our company or even worse , destroy us completely.
Well is my fault (I have to admit it :p), because I left my desk few minutes ( or few hours :p ) to have a cup of coffee with my new colleague Angelina ,and my mind was so happy about the fact that I was going to meet her that it had completely forgotten to order me to lock my computer, and miss Anita the new intern who loves doing me jokes that I don’t really appreciate, took advantage of the situation to play me this stupid trick .
But this bad joke made me realize that I needed a better way to protect my machine, the password of the session is not sufficient and can easily be hacked , especially that I have in charge some quite confidential files related to my work, I think that a File Encryption system will not be a bad idea.
Ways of encrypting are numerous and can range from the encryption offered by your operating systems, to Encryption Software, free or paying, to guarantee a maximum protection for your computer and to ensure that even a determined hacker well equipped cannot have access to the contents of your most secret files.
For my part I proposed the idea to my boss who found it quite interesting and gave me the task to find a good encryption system, I have to look for the best Data Encryption offers, and there’s once on internet that I like enough, I tell you more about it once it’s done!
