When we talk about music, there are the bands that come and go, the other bands that do commercial things, and Nirvana .

15 years have elapsed since the tragic ending of the leading vocal of that mythical group , and i think that it’s an occasion to remember the flame this band had lighted , a flame that is still alive till now

Today i’d like to talk a bit about the band that affected me the most when i was a teenager, the band that was ,not only for me but to all those who were lucky , and had the opportunity to know the grunge movement, the source of our inspiration .

Let’s Know About:

Nirvana is an American rock band that was founded in aberdeen “Birthplace of Grunge,” in late 1987 , by Kurt Cobain as a singer guitarist and Krist Novoselic playing bass , since its creation, Nirvana faced a big problem , the drum !!! Nirvana went through a succession of drummers till kurt and krist found Dave Grohl in 1990 , this guy simply added a note of bad energy to their way of playing , a note that made the group known not only in the US but in the whole world.

Other Seattle grunge bands such as Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden also gained popularity but none of them could reach what Nirvana had reached. Now , generally when you ask someone about Nirvana , in case he knows the band he’ll talk to you about the song “Smells Like Teen Spirit” from the band’s second album Nevermind (1991) , yes i know the song was a worldwide hit, but what i’d like to say is , i personally find each song of Nirvana a hit , a song that makes you feel good once you listen to it .

Unfortunately Nirvana’s brief run ended with Cobain’s death in April 1994 , a death that meant simply the end of of grunge movement, a movement that made the whole world head banging

To finish i’d like to invite you all to watch this video , that i especially dedicate to all Nirvana’s fans .

Since there is an economic crisis everywhere, companies from all around the world had to be original, and find new ideas that could interest people and make the selling machine work again.

And there is a rule that tells that if you want to sell more, you have the get the right inspiration, in the right time.

And that’s really what happened: D , they used the US election to boost their sales .

Indeed during the 3-4 last months I’ve noticed that the whole world has been invaded by the obamania

a movement that not only inspired the the US elector to vote for Obama and spread the change, it also inspired these companies .

I’ve seen through the net some really original stuff related to the 44th president here are some of them

Pillows , aprons , pet bowls , and cards  :

this is totally freaking but as long as this will prevent some companies from closing and give the opportunity to thousans of people to work , i like it .

what ? this is insane ? i can’t even believe it

today while checking latest news , a read an article that really captivated  my attention

one of my favorite guitar players ever, Mr the virtuoso joe satriani , has been stolen

but when i say has been stolen , i doesn’t mean that a thief took something from him , but a band took a song from him illegally and used it to their own purpose 

yes, even bands can steal other’s music , and claim that its their own

what a shame and a big of the lack of inspiration today’s band have .

all started when the band cold play launched a song called viva la Vida, that was strangely identical to If I Could Fly played by joe satriani played in 2004!!

joe has even decided to pursue  coldplay for copyright infringement in Los Angeles federal court

this is for sure neither the first nor the last time when a problem like that happens  in the world of music , and bands doing such things, have to be punished,
