but to start in the jungle of internet you really need someone who gives you  advices to be sure that you are really going on the right direction .

and as i don’t want you to face the same problems that i faced before and that made me lose a lot of time ,i decided to write this topic.

once i started www.letsknowabout.com , i didn’t know anything about websites, how it works ,how i can let my website be known , and what are the steps i should follow  to draw benefits from all this .

after few months, and even if i had written many topics, i noticed that no one was visiting my website . i then asked some friends who were already in the game since a long time, and they told me that the best thing to make my website known, is by link building , which means obtaining links from external web sites to your own to improve both direct referrals , a really good method to let people know about your website , and let search engine give more importance to your website .

the second thing you need to increase your traffic is to do some search engine optimization also known as SEO , which means to optimize your website so the search engines keep on updating their databases about it , and i personally believe that this is  the most important way to increase traffic to your website ,because if search engines like Google or yahoo do not reach and show your website in search results , no one will visit it that’s clear

But generally , webmasters and companies use Google page rank to see how good a website is .
You may ask what is Google page rank ? it’s simply a mark between 0 and 10 given by google to your beloved website.

this mark is Attributed to a web site depending on many criterias . some of them are the average number of backlinks , the number of visitors your website gets , the number of pages indexed …. , which makes google pagerank one of the most trusted ways to rank a website .

But also like any webmaster, i would like to know what the next pagerank of my website will be .

So i made my search through the net and found that all the tools proposed were simply not working , and useless .
This also pushed me to search about ways to increase my pagerank , and found several ways to do so , but believe me none of them is really working

The best way to increase your pagerank is to work hard , and make your website attractive, this means you must have a rich and original content , that will help you bring more visitors to your website .
also try to build backlinks or reciprocal links with friends that have interesting websites .
Also use all the possibilities you have to let the world know that your website exists , and this by subscribing it in directories and advertising it if this is possible .
