Let’s Know About : Google Buzz

March 4th, 2010 admin No comments

What’s Google Buzz ?

Google adds a dose of social networking to its Gmail without rivaling Facebook. Its bet: use the power of its algorithm to recommend contacts and improve the relevance of information from social networks.
Is the third attempted of incursion of Google in the world of social networking the right one? The “social” strategy of the search engine is currently experiencing a rather mixed success: Orkut, its social network launched six years ago, brings together about 100 million users (mainly in Brazil and India), four times less than Facebook . Its Open Social communication protocol, notably used by MySpace and Viadeo, failed to attract the interest of developers, unlike Facebook.
With Buzz, Google takes a decidedly more conservative approach: providing a dose of “social” to the 176 million users of its mail, but without making it a main goal in itself, as is for Facebook. Google also differs from its rival in the way Buzz creates social network, adding automatically the most contacted contacts by email or chat.

Once connected via Buzz, it is possible to monitor real-time flow of activity across its network by clicking the Buzz link located below the Gmail inbox, and share with them messages, Flickr photos or Picasa, YouTube videos and Web links. even though feeds supported by Buzz are still very limited: Twitter, Flickr, Picasa, Google Reader, Blogger, YouTube and Google Chat. A version of Buzz for smartphones, which now supports the iPhone and Android, is also available via an update of Google Maps on the Google Mobile site.
The end of Twitter?
Buzz looks like a feed combined with a virtual social network, within the existing service GMail. If you have a mail account at Google, you can now enjoy it.

Here are five key features of Google Buzz:

- A list of friends created automatically using your GMail email address, automatically adding frequently used contacts..

- The (Rich fast sharing) combines sources like Picasa, Flickr and Twitter into a single stream. No need to have many tabs open at once in your browser.

- You can choose to make your publication to the public or reserved for certain people, and The mobile version of Buzz also allows you to use your voice to create your publications.

Google Buzz already seems to generate a considerable interest among owners of Android phones and iPhones.

By connecting to the Web via WiFi, Buzz allows you to be located on the card if your access point is listed.

Let’s Know About :Youtube Will Give you Money

September 3rd, 2009 admin No comments

How many times have you visited Youtube , shared a video from it through your facebook account, or just watched funny videos by searching stupid words such as “ LOL “ “Funny” or “laughing” , neither me nor you ,can deny it, we are all addicted to YouTube, and this through simply watching its videos as I said previously or even for those who are more addicted ,creating a channel that will help them interact with r friends , become a fan of someone or why not ,have fans too :) .
Today I have some good news to all of you, YouTube has affirmed that it will pay the authors of the most popular videos ,of course the main purpose of this is to boost its own benefits, but at least as long as we can make some out of it too , it’s cool :p
YouTube has decided to open its Partner Program to all its users and by sharing advertising revenue, a privilege that used to be up to now only offered for professional.

All this started with a simple idea, and which is to encourage users to post more videos on its platform , of course this will bring more visitors and help YouTube gather money from advertising and develop its business model ,but also the authors of the most popular videos will be able to take some of the cake too :D .
How will it work ? it’s simple , YouTube is about to give to those who want (only available in the United States for the moment), the ability to insert advertising on the videos they put online. Until now, the monetization of the videos posted on the platform was reserved only for professional editors or users sending videos very regularly, and this via a registration to a special partners program created by the website.

So now what’s the difference, this time it’s YouTube that will first send you the e-mail to the user who published in the site a video that encountered a success. Finally Youtube seems to notice that it’s nothing without our contribution , and to make more benefit it has to give some benefit :)

We all talk and interact with people from all around the world , but we don’t
know where they are physically  located and from where they are exactly
connected .

but google team has one time again surprised the world with a new opt-in
feature that is going for sure to make a lot of new addicted, like google
earth did before .

let’s know about :

Google Latitude is a software that lets smartphones and computer users share  their location , and let friends now where they are exactly located and this  based on gps technology .

you may ask how it works ? it’s really easy , once you subscribe you and your  friend to google latitude program, you can see the pic of your friend on  google maps :) really freaking isn’t it ???

The service has just started and only few devices ( BlackBerry devices and
Windows Mobile 5.0+) can have access to , but soon all the mobile device will be connected to latitude.

I really think that this software is really interesting but the question I’m asking my self is : with Google latitude, is Google and all the world going to track me ? and now where I’m at each second ????

Imagine i’m with a girl and my girlfriend tracks me with Google latitude :D !!! My best advice is to think twice before you subscribe

here is also a video that i’ve found on youtube that explains how it works

March 26th, 2009 admin 1 comment

maybe it’s considered as the most important invention of the 20 the century , an invention that has completely changed our interaction with people and affected our Everyday Lives.

imagine just for few seconds a world without internet , how would it look like ? how would we contact each other ? and how would it be possible to talk to your friends living thousand miles away instantaneously ?? i simply can’t imagine it .

and as a lot of us do not really know how all this started , let’s talk a bit about the main milestones of the history of internet , when and where it was created and for what reasons .

but instead of as usual writing words to explain in , i decided to do it in an other way :)

i made some searches on internet and finally found a really interesting video on YouTube that explains everything about the history of internet.

good watch :)

Let's Know About : Michael jackson's comeback

March 16th, 2009 admin 1 comment

You may think I’m joking? Actually I’m not, the king of pop Michael jackson is back  :D and is about to perform  something like 50 live concerts in the UK over the three following years .but i can’t deny that fans were waiting for this since a long time, his last album was launched in 2001 and some even thought the king was suffering from an incurable disease, and that he couldn’t perform anymore.

Who’s Michael Jackson? What? You don’t know who’s Michael Jackson? So you simply don’t know about music J . Michael Jackson (bambi for close friends :p )is simply a phenomenon I’m not going to tell you everything about his life because it would take a whole book to do it: D Michael Jackson is the king of pop, pop music has completely changed thanks to him . his songs are known worldwide, and from all generation , songs that had the strength to reach people feelings , and also songs that have brought a whole lot of money to Michael :D

so what is this comeback about  ??  Michael Jackson has announced that he is about to perform a new show called ” this is it ” , the name wasn’t chosenarbitrarily , it means that this show is the last one that Michael is going to perform , so if you have the opportunity to attend it, do so , you won’t Regret. Also Michael has announced that he’s about to launch a new album, but till know we don’t have much information about it .

we can’t deny that we really needed this comeback , if we compare Jackson’s music to today’s pop music , there is simply no way to compare them, Jacksons music has been able to reach us since 80’s and still has the same effect on today’s generation . so go ahead Michael , you can do it ;)

here is a video that I’ve found on YouTube , where Michael is officially announcing that he’s back on scene

Let's Know About :POWER.COM

December 2nd, 2008 admin 1 comment

This morning a friend of mine asked me to visit a website that he found really interesting !!

i generally do not visit any of the websites he ask me to , because i’m sure they will be boring :D

but this time it was really different

it’s a website called POWER.COM and what it does is simply astonishing , and i decided to write about it :)

we all for sure use at least two or more social networks ,i personally surf everyday at least on my facebook and myspace profiles , it has become a routine, or maybe an addiction :)

so what this website actually does , is to gather all the data of theses sites into one and only single user interface , which will allow you to view and interact with  all of your social networks in the same time ( really interesting :D isn’t it )

at this time , on power.com you can have access to Facebook, MySpace, Bebo, Orkut, Hi5 and few niche networks like YouTube.

i have already created my power.com account , and i find it really interesting , i also invite you all to try power.com

YouTube is a video sharing website where users can upload ,download  view and share video clips. YouTube was created in February 2005 by three former PayPal employees. The  service uses Adobe Flash Video technology to display a wide variety of user-generated video content, including movie clips, TV clips and music videos, as well as amateur content such as videoblogging and short original videos.

Even unregistered users can watch most videos on the site, while registered users are permitted to upload an unlimited number of videos. Some videos are available only to users of age 18 or older (e.g. videos containing potentially offensive content).

Before the launch of YouTube in 2005, there were few simple methods available for ordinary computer users who wanted to post videos online.
now Youtube has made it accessible to any one ,in any place around the world and at any time .

you can visit youtube here .
